Muscle-Testing (applied kinesiology) is simply a tool used to access the body’s stored emotional content. Any major muscle in the body that is isolated will respond to electrical/energetic shifts that occur in the body. For example, when the client states something that the physical body “disagrees” with, this reveals an incongruence or conflict, manifesting itself as a small electrical/energetic “shift.” This shift shows up in the muscle by causing it to momentarily ’de-activate’. When this occurs, the muscle will “give-way” or weaken when pressure is applied, rather than bouncing back or exhibiting resistance.
